Historic Salem, in the heart of Harrisburg, seeks the Holy Spirit's guidance in welcoming all people to worship God; by encouraging participation in the ministry of Christ through Christian outreach to the city's heart.
About Us
As Harrisburg's first and oldest church, built in 17187, Salem has stressed its historic past by participating ecumenically with many diverse denominations over the years. We continue to look for ways to serve our community and to extend a warm welcome to anyone who lives in the downtown and surrounding area. Our Community Prayer Box and Prayer Garden is one of the ways we seek to reach out to serve the spiritual needs of our neighbors.
